Writer's Workshop

The wind whips through the night, as he perches on the roof like a handsome gargoyle.
His leather coat billows around him, as he curses to himself as she looks up at him.
She shouldn't be able to see him...yet she pauses, then blinks in wonder.
Her cobalt eyes twinkle.
With a wink, she turns away.
Long brown hair twirls around her as she continues to walk.
His own eyes, the color of an antique green bottle, widen in surprise at her reaction.
With another curse, he leaps from the rooftop ledge and glides to the ground.
He stares at her disappearing figure for a moment;
then stalks off in the opposite direction.
She feels a slight breeze as he lands.
And smiles to herself as the distance between the two of them grows.

Mama’s Losin’ It

  1. I'm still waiting for the rest of this. You have yet to send it to me.

  2. Cool bit. Made me wonder who you're talking about and what's the story.

  3. This makes me want to know a lot more about the characters! Visiting from MamaKat's.

  4. Intriguing! Wonder where this is going.

  5. Wow! This is so intriguing and I love how you were able to weave the 12 lines into a piece of fiction!
